About

A resource for learners of the English language to expand their vocabulary through 5 20-minute sessions of increasingly complex by commonly used English words. To help learning and retention of words are approached in multiple ways using definitions, sentence usage, questions, stories, opposites, similar words and other techniques. Session 1 starts with more basic words such as opponent, cable, additional, triumph and rare. Session 2 covers words like gingerly, upset, globe, shabby and actual. Session 3 includes words like reassure, hearty, condone, deprive and faulty. Session 4 includes words such as superior, ordinary, particular, diverge and invert. Session 5 includes collide, vow, mimic, monotonous, variable and adhere as well as quiz content on words covered previously. Through each content segment is relatively short and the words and learning approach change frequently within each session to keep the content fresh and interesting. If you are an intermediate to advanced English-speaker then this is an ideal way to round out your vocabulary and deepen your understanding of other words you are starting to become familiar with.
